University of West London

Whatever your interest in the creative industries, UWL have a course that will suit you - advertising and public relations, broadcast journalism, fashion and textiles, film production, graphic design, media and communications, photography, radio and audio production, and visual effects.

De Montfort University

Media, Communications & Culture

Media, Communications and Culture (MCC) at Keele is a top 20 UK programme (Complete University Guide 2016; Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016) combining both practical and theoretical elements. On the practical side, you will learn how to make news programmes, the skills of digital photography, and documentary-programme making, while in terms of theory you will explore the ways in which we understand the terms media and culture both today and historically, and analyse how a range of media forms such as film, television, photography and literature produce cultural meaning.  

Music Technology

Keele’s Music Technology programme encourages you to work at the frontiers of the creative application of technology in composition, music production, sound design, screen music, audio-visuals and music software. The course is informed and inspired by successful creative practitioners and researchers. You will study many different styles and genres, inventing, capturing, recording, mixing and manipulating audio/visual content using advanced digital media.
