Online IELTS Writing Course
Online IELTS Writing courses prepare students for Task 1 and 2 of the IELTS Academic Writing test.
The course aims to improve a students score by 1.0 over 10 weeks, and all teaching takes place online via email between you and your IELTS instructor. By the end of the course you will be fully prepared for the IELTS writing exam.
Course Goals
The aim of this course is to equip you with the skills needed to write clear and detailed essays, while also improving your critical thinking and data analysis. Classes will help increase your IELTS writing score by practicing specific essays and language to improve your written proficiency.
How it works
You will choose 10 assignments from the list below to develop your writing skills.
Task 1 (all 5 questions)
- Line graph
- Multiple bar chart
- Multiple pie charts
- Table
- Linear processing
Task 1 of the IELTS writing exam will require the candidate to write a summary of at least 150 words in response to a graph (bar, line or pie graph), table, chart, or process. Candidates will be expected to clearly describe, discuss and compare data, trends and information.

- Analysis of the rationale
- Comparing and contrasting
- Problems and solutions
- Giving and justifying opinions II
- Rationale of raised, justification

Task 2 of the IELTS writing exam expects you to write at least 250 words on a topic. You will be tested on how you justify an opinion, identify problems and discuss solutions.
